Cozy beer garden with friendly staff and very good food, right on the Saale. A visit is definitely worth it!

Very cozy beer garden. The interior is freshly renovated.

The rock pavilion is one of the most beautiful beer gardens in Halle. It is located on the idyllic bank of the Saale, surrounded by rocks and parks, opposite the well-known Boat tavern Marie-Hedwig. The food tastes excellent, the beer is no less and the service is great. What more do you want?

A worthwhile place for a break during a walk around or over the Peißnitzinsel, or even more with delicious food.

We were guests on August 3rd, 2020 based on a recommendation. You sit really nicely and can enjoy the evening sun, no question about it, but the service still has a lot to learn. When you bring a full new glass, it is easy to clear away the empty one. In my opinion, the staff did not walk through the place with a lot of insight and attention. For dinner we had schnitzel, which was a little too salty, and spaghetti Aglio Olio, which was really good with the fresh ingredients, but then please do not sprinkle the parmesan on it from the bag dies, it ruined the whole meal .. Come so quickly we not again.

Due to the successful and overdue renovation, the rustic charm caused by the previous workforce was unfortunately lost. After removal of the cobwebs in all corners and heavy alcoholic regular customers, even the common riverside strollers dare to take a seat on the garden furniture. Another refuge was deserted ...

For a simple 'snack', the food was perfectly fine and very 'regional'. Beer brought fresh, cool and quick. And a very nice location to take a short break while hiking.

Tested the rock pavilion with a new owner today. Clear menu, but something for everyone - a nice selection of home cooking. Everything was well presented and very tasty. Nice beer garden with a view of the Saale and Riveufer and the service was also very friendly and attentive. We would love to come back.

An alternative on the banks of the Rive, not recognizable after the renovation. The service is a bit slow but that makes up for the friendliness.

Very nice restaurant right on the Saale promenade with a beer garden. Very friendly service. You can also sit outside in winter with mulled wine and a fire bowl. So a good place for a little rest with delicious bockwurst or you can warm yourself up with good food.

The rock pavilion has reopened this year. It has been renovated and modernized. On the menu should be something for everyone. Price performance fits. We really liked it. In nice weather you can sit outside. The toilets are very clean!
